Description
Day 1- Pick up early after breakfast at your hotel. The tour starts by walking you around Lushoto center to get acquainted with the history and then you will walk to the chief village and visit the Magamba forest.
Your visit to the Magamba rainforest will include some introduction to the local fauna and flora, including two horned chameleon spotting and bird watching. Once the visit is concluding you will hike to the accommodation to spend the night.
Day 2- After a nice breakfast you will hike towards Mtae through villages where you will learn about the local culture. The hiking trail crosses breathtaking landscapes. After that you will go to your accommodation for the night.
Day 3- On this day you will walk around the Mtae area and visit a traditional healer, the pottery factory run by women and watch a traditional Shambaa dance before the spectacular sunset with views over the Mikomazi national park.
